Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Septemat 11:00 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Septemwith the family to receive friends from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Ed is also survived by his grandchildren Cammie, Angie, David, Deanna, Matthew and Zadoc and great-grandchild Kileigh along with numerous nieces and nephews. (Cy) Ellerd of Billings, MT, his sisters Alice, Eleanor (Art) and Shirley and brother Harold (Eunice). (Brenda) Oster of Wichita, KS and Denise K. Ed was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the amateur radio club in Miles City.Įd was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Loretta and son David John Oster, also his brothers Marvin, Walter and Leroy and his sister Florence.Įd is survived by his children Richard E. He retired in Miles City and enjoyed amateur Radio, going to church, liked photography and spending time with his wife and friends. Sager of Graceville, Minnesota on November 1st, 1958 and began working for the United States Postal Service. Shortly after the Marine Corp, Ed married Loretta E. Ed enlisted in the Marine Corp and served from Decemthrough Decemas a tech with a rank of Sergeant. He attended school in Hebron, ND through high school. Interment: Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post # 1579Įdwin John Oster, 84 years old, of Miles City, MT passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, on September 6, 2006.Įd was born on Februin Hebron, ND, the son of John and Ida Oster.
